Quadcopter
In January of 2013 I decided to build a Quadcopter with my roommate and former mechatronics classmate. We started by spec'ing out 4X 20A Brushless Outrunner Motors and a WiteSpy MultiWii Pro 2.0 Flight Controller Board... and from there we were off to the races. We ended up with a pretty simple quad, but a great platform to build on for future experimentation.
The quad can lift ~5 lbs and fly for upwards of 30 min, so it should prove capable of performing many aerial tasks. We're currently working on improving its stability and even programming in a few autonomous capabilities. But in the meantime, its just a heckuva lot o' fun to fly!

As for what's next, we're talking about adding a camera to try our hands at some awesome aerial videography...
